What we collect
We do not ask you for personal information on this site. There are no contact forms, no newsletter sign-ups, no user accounts and no comments. If you choose to email us, we will hold that message and your email address only for as long as it takes to reply and keep a reasonable record of the conversation.
Like almost all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. They are used to keep the site secure and working, and are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies of its own. Our host and security layer may set strictly necessary cookies that are needed to deliver the page and protect against abuse. The measurement tools described below may set their own cookies so that repeat visits can be told apart. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time, and the site will still work.
Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager on this site. It is a container that loads measurement tags, and the tags we run through it report aggregated information such as which pages are viewed, which brand links are followed, the approximate region a visit came from and the type of device used. We use this only to understand which parts of the portfolio people are interested in. We do not use it to identify you and we do not sell this information. Data collected through Google’s tags is also subject to Google’s own privacy terms.
Links to other websites
The brand cards on the home page take you to separate websites, each with its own owner, terms and privacy policy. Once you follow one of those links, this policy no longer applies. Please read the policy of the site you land on.
How long we keep information
Server logs are kept for the limited period set by our hosting provider. Email correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful, and is deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to email@arupsoans.com and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
